四、培养目标和专业特色
1. 培养目标
以“卓越建筑师人才”培养为主要目标,以企业与社会需求为导向,学生通过专业系列课程的学习,掌握建筑设计的基本原理、程序和方法、建筑历史与文化、建筑结构、建筑材料与构造、物理环境控制等专业技术理论和相关知识,培养美学修养与艺术素质,了解建筑安全性、建筑与行为、城乡规划与景观设计、经济与法规、建筑师执业等专业理论和相关知识,有能力应用建筑设计原理进行建筑方案设计,熟悉建筑技术环节,具备综合分析与组织、判断与表达能力。
毕业生主要成为在城乡建设系统中从事公共建筑设计、居住建筑设计、城市设计、历史建筑保护等方向的设计、科研、开发、管理的复合型专门人才。
2. 专业特色
以建筑设计及其理论学科为主干,兼修建筑历史与理论、城乡规划与设计、建筑技术科学、艺术学、文学等学科内容,强调“厚基础、宽口径、强能力、高素质、重实践”专业培养。围绕立足首都,面向全国,依托建筑行业,服务城乡建设办学方向,以校企合作为平台,构建校外人才培养基地,培养适应行业需求的卓越建筑学专业毕业生。
专业设计以公共建筑设计、居住建筑设计、城市设计、历史建筑保护等方向为主,兼顾绿色建筑设计与技术、虚拟仿真数字化技术应用等方向。
五、培养规格和基本要求
1.基本要求
(1)适应国家和社会经济发展和建设需要,德智体美劳全面发展;具有一定的自然科学、人文社会科学、工程技术、环境科学、法律、国防、经济、项目管理等知识。
2)了解有关科技发展的新动向,知识面较宽,富有实干精神,具备正确的文化意识。
3)具有良好的心理素质和健康的身体,了解体育运动的意义和基本知识,养成良好的体育运动习惯,达到国家大学生体质健康标准。
2.业务要求
1)理解建筑师的职业道德和社会责任,具有一定的哲学、艺术和人文素养及社会交际能力,具有环境保护和可持续发展的意识。
2)掌握本专业必需的基础科学理论、基础知识及必要的专业技能;具有较扎实的工程素质基础,具备一定的实践能力和创新能力。
3)具有较好的自主学习、合作学习、研究性学习能力;基本掌握一门外语,具有听、说、读、写的基础,能读懂本专业的外文文献。

九、毕业合格标准
1.本专业毕业班学生在开始毕业设计(开题)”前必须修满先修课程学分。
2.本专业毕业设计实行中期检查制。中期检查(含复审)结论为不通过者,不能继续在本年级进行毕业设计,须按照弹性学制相关规定,降级重修毕业设计
3.本专业毕业要求的最低总学分数为227.5学分。其中,理论教学类最低总学分数为164.5学分,(折合最低总学时2632学时)(含校级选修课最低修读8学分)独立设置的实践教学学分数为63学分。

IVEducational Objectives and Characteristics
With the main target of "Outstanding architect training" and the orientation of the demands of the society and enterprises, through the study of professional courses, students are asked to master the basic principles, design procedures and methods of architectural design, architectural history and culture, and architectural technology knowledge such as building structure, building materials and construction, and physical environment control on one hand. on the other hand, they are cultivated to have aesthetic and artistic quality. In addition, students are also asked to understand other professional theories and relevant knowledge of the construction safety, science of behavior, urban and rural planning and landscape design, economy and laws, and registered architects’ bussiness. Students are able to have ability of comprehensive analysis and organization, ability of judgment and expression, and even ability.to apply design principles to architectural design with good control of architectural technology.
Graduates mainly serve for urban and rural construction, engaging in such work as design, research, project development and administration in field of public building design, residential building design, urban design and protection of historical buildings and the like.
2. Specialty characteristics
On the basis of the professional educational principle of "thick and solid foundation, wide channel, strong ability, high quality, more attention to the practice", the discipline of Architectural Design and Theory is the backbone, accompanied by such other disciplines as Architectural History and Theory, Urban and Rural Planning and Design, Architectural Technology and Science, Art and Literature. 
Around the running concept of our university, "based in Beijing, facing the whole country, relying on the construction industry, and serving for urban and rural construction", the specialty makes full use of the enterprise cooperation as a platform, building up the after-school talent training base, thus devoting itself to cultivate outstanding graduates in architecture, who adapt and meet the industry demands.
The main professional design focuses on such topics as the public building, the residential building, urban design, and the protection of historical buildings, accompanied by the green building design and technology, digital technology virtual simulation of as the main features.
VSkills Profile and Requirements
1. Basic requirements
(1) Students have ability to adapt to the demands of economic development and construction of the country and the society, to have integrated all-round development of Moral education, intellectual education, sports, aesthetic education and labor education, and also to have certain knowledge of natural science, humanitic and social science, engineering technology, environmental science, law, national defense, economy, and project management.
(2) Students know the new trends in the development of science and technology, having broad knowledge, full of the spirit of hard work, and have better cultural consciousness.
(3) Students have good psychological quality and good health, understanding the significance and basic knowledge about sports, having the good habit of physical exercise, and get up to the National Physical Health Standard of College Students.
2. Business requirements
(1) Students can understand professional ethics and social responsibility of Architects, has certain understandingof philosophy, arts and Humanities, and social communication ability, and has the environmental protection and sustainable development consciousness.
(2) Students can master the necessary basic theory, basic knowledge and the necessary professional skills during the study of architecture; and also have the good ability of practice and innovation.
(3) Students have good ability of the independent learning, cooperative learning, and research learning, basically mastering a foreign language with the average level of listening, speaking, reading and writing, and also read professional literature in the foreign language.

IXGraduation Requirements
1. Students must get credits of prerequisite courses before they start the diploma design.
2. Students must finish the mid-term inspection and examination of the diploma design.
   Students who get “not pass” in the mid-term examination (including recheck) will have to stop the ongoing diploma design, and then are given the chance to apply for the next diploma design according to the relevant regulations of “flexible educational system (4-8 years)”.
3. Students need get 227.5 credits (the minimum of total credits) during their 5-year study,
   including of 164.5 credits (the minimum credits of theoretical courses) and63 credits ( the minimum credits of practical courses)
