四、培养目标和专业特色
1. 培养目标
本专业培养具有良好道德品质,身心健康,从事风景园林领域历史理论研究、遗产保护、规划设计、风景园林工程等方面的专业人才。培养能够融合科学与艺术、综合应用形象思维与逻辑思维的创新型人才。学生毕业后可在园林、城乡建设、遗产保护、教育等相关部门从事景观设计、城市设计、风景区规划、森林公园规划及城乡各类园林绿地、风景园林建筑、自然与文化遗产等方面的规划、设计、施工、管理及教育科学研究等工作。
2. 专业特色
依托建筑学和城乡规划学一级学科,主修风景园林所涉及的核心内容,包括风景园林历史与理论、园林与景观设计、景观规划与生态修复、风景园林遗产保护、风景园林技术科学等,强调厚基础、宽口径、强能力、高素质专业培养。围绕立足首都,面向全国,依托建筑行业,服务城乡建设办学方向,以校企合作为平台,构建校外人才培养基地,培养适应行业需求的风景园林专业毕业生。
专业设计以风景园林规划与设计、风景园林遗产保护、景观生态修复等方向为主,兼顾风景园林植物、风景园林工程、环境生态、文化艺术、地学、社会学等多学科的交汇综合。
五、培养规格和基本要求
1.基本要求
(1)适应国家和社会经济发展和建设需要,德智体美劳全面发展;具有一定的自然科学、人文社会科学、工程技术、环境科学、法律、国防、经济、项目管理等知识。
2)了解有关科技发展的新动向,知识面较宽,富有实干精神,具备较好的文化意识。
3)具有良好的心理素质和健康的身体,了解体育运动的意义和基本知识,养成良好的体育运动习惯,达到国家大学生体质健康标准。
2.业务要求
1)理解风景园林师的职业道德和社会责任,具有一定的哲学、艺术和人文素养及社会交际能力,具有环境保护和可持续发展的意识。
2)掌握本专业必需的基础科学理论、基础知识及必要的专业技能;具有较扎实的工程素质、实践能力和创新能力基础。
3)具有较好的自主学习、合作学习、研究性学习能力;基本掌握一门外语,具有听、说、读、写的基础,能读懂本专业的外文文献。

九、毕业合格标准
1.本专业毕业班学生在开始“毕业设计(开题)”前必须修满先修课程学分。
2.本专业“毕业设计”实行中期检查制。中期检查(含复审)结论为“不通过”者,不能继续在本年级进行“毕业设计”,须按照弹性学制相关规定,降级重修“毕业设计”。
3.本专业毕业要求的最低总学分数为224学分。其中,“理论教学”类最低总学分数为153学分(课内理论教学2448学时),“实践教学”类总学分数为63学分。

       IV. Program Objectives and Characteristics
1. Training goals
The professional training with good moral character, physical and mental health professionals engaged in the field of landscape architecture theory of history, heritage protection, planning and design, landscape architecture and other aspects of the project. Training can blend science and art, the image of the integrated application of innovative thinking and logical thinking talents. After graduation, students can engage in landscape design, urban design and landscape planning, forest parks and urban planning all kinds of green space, landscape architectural, natural and cultural heritage in the relevant sectors, such as gardens, urban construction, municipal transport, heritage protection, education, etc. work planning, design, construction, management and education and scientific research.
2. Professional Features
On the basis of the professional educational principle of "thick and solid foundation, wide channel, strong ability, high quality, more attention to the practice", basing on Architecture and Rural and Urban planning, the discipline major in the core contect of Landscape Architecture, including history and theory of landscape architecture, garden and landscape design, landscape planning and ecological restoration, landscape heritage, and landscape technology science. 
Around the running concept of our university, "based in Beijing, facing the whole country, relying on the construction industry, and serving for urban and rural construction", the specialty makes full use of the enterprise cooperation as a platform, building up the after-school talent training base, thus devoting itself to cultivate outstanding graduates in landscape architecture, who adapt and meet the industry demands.
The main professional design focuses on such topics as landscape planning and design, landscape architecture heritage, landscape-based ecological restoration, accompanied by landscape plants, landscape engineering, ecology science, culture and art, earth science, sociology and other disciplines.
V. Student Learning Outcomes
1. Basic requirements
(1) Students have ability to adapt to the demands of economic development and construction of the country and the society, to have integrated all-round development of Moral education, intellectual education, sports, aesthetic education and labor education, and also to have certain knowledge of natural science, humanitic and social science, engineering technology,environmental science, law, national defense, economy, and project management.
(2) Students know the new trends in the development of science and technology, having broad knowledge, full of the spirit of hard work, and have good culturalconsciousness.
(3) Students have good psychological qualityand good health, understanding the significanceand basic knowledge about sports, having thegood habit of physical exercise, and get up to the National Physical Health Standard of College Students.
2. Business requirements
(1) Students can understand professional ethics and social responsibility of Architects, has certain understandingof philosophy, arts and Humanities, and social communication ability, and has the environmental protection and sustainable development consciousness.
(2) Students can master the necessary basic theory,basic knowledge andthe necessary professional skills during the study of architecture; and also have the good ability of practice and innovation.
(3) Students have good ability of the independent learning, cooperative learning, and research learning, basically mastering a foreign language with the average level of listening, speaking, reading and writing, and can also read professional literature in the foreign language.
