Jonathan Barnett 乔纳森·巴奈特 

 

 

  乔纳森·巴奈特是纽约市总城市设计师,宾夕法尼亚大学城市设计项目前主任,城市与区域规划方向专家教授。他既是建筑师,又是规划师,也是教育家,著有大量关于城市设计理论与实践的著作和文章。他是美国建筑师协会会员,美国注册规划师协会会员。巴奈特教授是许多国际城市,政府和民间机构的顾问,曾担任迈阿密、纳什维尔、纽约、诺福克、厦门、天津和美国几家政府机构的城市设计顾问,影响力遍及亚太和欧美地区。他曾在耶鲁大学、威斯康辛大学,马里兰大学和南佛罗里达州大学任客座教授,目前是南京东南大学特聘客座教授。

  Jonathan Barnett

  Jonathan Barnett is an emeritus Professor of Practice in City and Regional Planning, and former director of the Urban Design Program, at the University of Pennsylvania. He is an architect and planner as well as an educator, and is the author of numerous books and articles on the theory and practice of city design.

  He has been an advisor to the cities including Miami, Nashville, New York City, Norfolk, in the United States and Xiamen and Tianjin in China. He has also been an advisor to several U.S. Government agencies.

  He is a fellow of the American Institute of Architects and also a fellow of the American Institute of Certified Planners. He has been the William Henry Bishop visiting professor at Yale, the Eschweiler Professor at the University of Wisconsin, the Kea Distinguished Visiting Professor at the University of Maryland, and the Sam Gibbons Eminent Scholar at the University of South Florida. He is currently a Guest Professor at Southeast University in Nanjing.

  Books written by Jonathan Barnett include Urban Design as Public Policy, which has also been translated and published in China, Korea and Japan; Introduction to Urban Design and The Elusive City: Five Centuries of Design, Ambition, and Miscalculation have appeared in both Chinese and Japanese translation. The Fractured Metropolis: Improving the New City, Restoring the Old City, Reshaping the Region; and Redesigning Cities, a book on the current practice of city design, which has also been translated and published in China.

 

    Klaus R. Kunzmann克劳斯·昆兹曼

  Klaus R. Kunzmann

  Klaus was Professor and Director of Research of the School of Spatial Planning of the Technische Universit?t Dortmund in Germany from 1974 to 1993. Thereafter, until his retirement in 2006, he held a Jean Monet professorship at the same university. He is the funding father of the Association of European Schools of Planning (AESOP), a member of the German Academy of Spatial Planning and Research, a honorary member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RMIT) in Britain.

  As visiting professor he was frequently invited to universities in the US, the UK, and in Italy, France, Switzerland, Taiwan and China. As a policy advisor, he was involved in numerous projects in Europe and Asia.

  Klaus has published widely in German, English, French and Italian on European territorial development, on regional restructuring in traditional industrial areas, and on the role of culture and creative industries for urban and regional development.

 

  Roy Strickland罗伊·斯特里克兰德

  Roy Strickland

  Roy Strickland is an internationally recognized and award winning urban designer and educator whose practice, teaching and research have engaged the global cities of London, Paris, Tokyo, Istanbul, New York and Beijing. He is Professor of Architecture at the A. Alfred Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning where he served as the founding director of the Master of Urban Design Program from 2001 until 2012. In China he is a designated Overseas Expert in the field of urban design tasked to help that country develop urban design education. Also in China he serves as senior advisor to the National Research Center for Rural Planning, Beijing. Currently he is editing an international survey of urban design pedagogy for the journal Urban Planning and Design of the Institution of Civil Engineers, Britain.

  His work has been featured in The New York Times, Progressive Architecture, Architectural Record and The Atlantic Cities and has been exhibited at The Architectural League of New York, MIT, Columbia University, the Rhode Island School of Design, the University of Washington (Seattle) and UCLA. He is former director of Columbia University’s Urban Design Program and chair of the S.M.Arch.S. Curriculum Committee at MIT’s School of Architecture and Planning.

 

  Robert Fishman罗伯特·费世曼

  Robert Fishman

  Robert Fishman, professor of architecture and urban planning, teaches in the urban design, architecture, and urban planning programs at Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning at the University of Michigan. He is currently working on a history of sustainability.

  He received his Ph.D. and A.M. in history from Harvard and his A.B. in history from Stanford University. An internationally recognized expert in the areas of urban history and urban policy and planning, he has authored several books regarded as seminal texts on the history of cities and urbanism including Bourgeois Utopias: The Rise and Fall of Suburbia (1987) and Urban Utopias in the Twentieth Century: Ebenezer Howard, Frank Lloyd Wright, and Le Corbusier (1977).

  His honors include the 2009 Laurence Gerckens Prize for lifetime achievement of the Society for City and Regional Planning History; the Walker Ames Lectureship, the University of Washington, Seattle, 2010; the Emil Lorch Professorship at the Taubman College, 2006-2009; Public Policy Scholar, the Wilson Center, Washington, D.C., 1999; the Cass Gilbert Professorship at the University of Minnesota, 1998; and visiting professorships at the University of Paris, Nanterre; the University of Pennsylvania; and Columbia University.

 

  Robert Warren Marans 罗伯特·沃伦·马兰斯

  Robert Warren Marans

  As the Emeritus Professor of Architecture and Urban and Regional Planning, Professor Marans has conducted research and evaluative studies dealing with various aspects of communities, neighborhoods, housing, and parks and recreational facilities. His research has focused on attributes of the physical and sociocultural environments and their influence on individual and group behavior, well-being, and the quality of life.  Much of Dr. Marans' research has been in the context of urban areas, including metro Detroit. 

  His current work deals with cultural issues of sustainability and energy conservation in institutional settings including universities and the impact of the built and natural environments on quality of life.

  He is the author or co-author of 7 books and more than 100 articles and technical reports. His most recent book, Investigating the Quality of Urban Life: Theory, Methods, and Empirical Research (co-edited with Robert Stimson) was published by Springer in 2011.He is the recipient of the 2012 Career Award of the Environmental Design Research Association (EDRA) and was elected to the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Certified Planners (FAICP) in 2014.

 

  Albert Dubler 阿尔伯特·杜伯乐

  Albert Dubler

  Albert Dubler, former President of the International Union of Architects (UIA), France. He has been in private practice in Strasbourg since 1988. From the beginning he has been a strong advocate of sustainable development in France and Europe, and this commitment grew into the defense of responsible architectural design on the global level. He has upheld these ideals as a member of the Council of the French Order of Architects (CNOA), and as Vice-President of the UIA French section, the International Council of French Architects (CIAF).

 

  Laura Anna Pezzetti 劳拉·安娜佩泽蒂

  Laura Anna Pezzetti

  Laura Anna Pezzetti, graduated with an honor degree in architecture from Politecnico di Milano, has been a visiting scholar at the ETSAM Architectural School in Madrid (Spain) and has obtained a Ph.D. in Architectural Composition with the merit of publication at IUAV (Architectural Institute of Venice, 2005).

  Presently, she is Professor of Architectural and Urban Design at the School of Architecture and Senior Researcher at the ABC Department of Architectural, Built Environment, and Construction Engineering of Politecnico di Milano. She is also coordinating a Double Master Degree Program with the College of Architecture of Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology, China, where she is presently a visiting professor and coordinator of yearly workshops.

  The relationship between the old and the new and between tradition and transformation in Western and Chinese architectural culture is the main subject of her theoretical research and has been investigated in publications, and discussed through exhibitions and conferences. Design research, in turn, focusses on the issues pertaining to densely built historical areas and landscapes, from protection to regeneration and enhancement, in a design-led approach. Collective buildings and public spaces are the main field of design investigation.

 

  Dennis Frenchman丹尼斯·法兰奇曼

  Dennis Frenchman

  Dennis Frenchman is the Leventhal Professor of Urban Design and Planning at MIT, where he is Associate Dean and chair of the Masters in City Planning program. He is also on the faculty of the Center for Real Estate. He has taught and practiced extensively in Asia, Europe, and South America and served as External Advisor on urban livability to the President of the World Bank.

  Frenchman is a registered architect, and founding principal of ICON architecture in Boston, an international architecture and urban design firm. Dennis Frenchman’s practice and research focuses on the transformation of cities. He is an expert on the application of digital technology to city design and has designed large-scale media oriented cities and industrial clusters.

  He has a particular interest in the redevelopment of industrial sites and has prepared plans for the renewal of textile mill towns, canals, rail corridors, steels mills, coal and oil fields, shipyards and ports, including many of international cultural significance.

  Currently he is leading an MIT research effort to develop new models for clean energy urbanization in China, sponsored by the Energy Foundation. He is the author of articles and books on advanced urban design, including Technological Imagination and the Historic City. His work has been widely recognized including awards from Progressive Architecture, the American Institute of Architects, and three citations from the American Planning Association for the most outstanding projects in the United States.

 

 Michael Sorkin米歇尔·索金

  Michael Sorkin

  Michael Sorkin has been elected a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts & Sciences. He has been Distinguished Professor of Architecture and Director of the Graduate Program in Urban Design at Spitzer School of Architecture, The City College of New York (CCNY).

  Professor Sorkin has taught at CCNY since 2000. He joined the College from the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna where he was Professor and Director of the Institute for Urbanism from 1993 to 2000. He has also held professorships at Cooper Union, Harvard University, Yale University (Davenport and Bishop chairs), Cornell University (Gensler Chair), Columbia University, The University of Pennsylvania, University of Texas, University of Minnesota, University of Illinois, University of Michigan (Saarinen Chair) and University of Nebraska (Hyde Chair).

  Michael Sorkin is principal and founder of the Michael Sorkin Studio, a global design practice working at all scales with a special interest in the city and green architecture; President and founder of Terreform, a non-profit institute dedicated to research into the forms and practices of just and sustainable urbanism; and Co-President of the Forum and Institute for Urban Design.

  Sorkin has been the recipient of several fellowships and awards. His recent awards include “Design Mind” from the National Design Award in 2013.

 

  Rodolphe el-Khoury鲁道夫·库力

  Rodolphe el-Khoury

  Rodolphe el-Khoury is Dean of the University of Miami School of Architecture. Before coming to UMSoA in July, 2014, he was Canada Research Chair and Director of Urban Design at the University of Toronto, Head of Architecture at California College of the Arts, and Associate Professor at Harvard Graduate School of Design. He has taught at Columbia University, Rhode Island School of Design, and Princeton University and has had Visiting Professor appointments at MIT, University of Hong Kong, and Rice University (Cullinen Visiting Chair).

  el-Khoury was trained as both a historian and a practitioner and continues to divide his time between scholarship and design. As a partner in Khoury Levit Fong (KLF), his award-winning projects include Beirut Martyr’s Square (AIA San Francisco), Stratford Market Square (Boston Society of Architecture), and the Shenzhen Museum of Contemporary Art (AIA Cleveland).

  His current research in architecture focuses on applications for information technology, aiming for enhanced responsiveness and sustainability in buildings and smart cities. He is also working on the application of robotics and embedded technology in architecture in projects and prototypes for interactive and responsive environments, including immersive environments and multi-sensory architecture.

 

  Cecilie Andersson塞西莉·安德森

  Cecilie Andersson

  Cecilie Andersson received her Master in Architecture from Bergen School of Architecture, with exchange to ?rhus. She has worked as an architect at HLM Arkitektur in Bergen and at Helen & Hard in Stavanger, on various projects related to building, transformation and planning. In 2012 she defended her PhD in urban planning at NTNU on Migrant Positioning in transforming urban ambiences, exploring the situation in urban villages and the city of Guangzhou, China.

  She has taught master courses and workshops at BAS, NTNU and several schools in China (SCUT, GAFA, XAUAT, Tongji). She is currently rector at Bergen School of Architecture.

  Cecilie Andersson trained as an architect, and is currently Rector of Bergen School of Architecture. She received her doctorate from Norwegian University of Science and Technology on the topic of migrant positioning in the cities with emphasize on urban villages in China.

 

  Chenghe Guan 关成贺

  ChengHe Guan is the Pollman Fellow in Real Estate and Urban Development of the Harvard Graduate School of Design.

  Guan's research uses quantitative methods and GIS to explore the built and natural environment and morphology of urban and regional development. He hopes to focus his Pollman research in two areas: an expansion of his recent project, “New Towns and Large Scale Communities in China: Lessons for Developing New Towns around the World,” and a comparative study of morphological conditions of urban networks with the aim of comparing international cases from different nations.

  Guan has recently won numerous research grants and design competition awards, including the 2016 ACSP Karen R. Polenske Award for Outstanding Paper, the 2014 Fairbank Center Research Grant for Chinese Studies, and the 2013 Urban Land Institute Best Urban Planning Award. He is also a consultant for the World Bank Urban Development Sector, a registered architect in California, and a board member at several academic and research organizations.

 

  Zhu Wenyi 朱文一

 

 

  现任清华大学建筑学院教授、博士生导师。中国建筑学会资深会员、常务理事,建设部科技委员会委员,首都规划建设委员会专家组成员。朱文一教授于1985年、1988年和1993年分别获得清华大学学士、硕士和博士学位;2000年至2001年在哈佛大学访问。著作有《空间·符号·城市》,《院的本质与文化内涵的追问》,《中国古代建筑的一种译码》等。

  Zhu Wenyi

  Zhu Wenyi is Professor and PhD Advisor of the School of Architecture, Tsinghua University. He is also an honorable member and a chief board member of Architectural Society of China, Vice Director of the Architectural Education committee of China. He has published over 40 research papers and has presided more than 20 architectural and urban design projects. As a sub-theme main speaker, he gave his presentation ‘Toward the 21st Century Architecture and Environment’ on the XX UIA Congress, Beijing 1999. With the main focus on urban spaces research, Zhu has supervised his students a series of theses on ‘Zoom-In Beijing’ in the last ten years. His teaching method has received high appraisal and appreciation from his students. Many students have distinguished themselves in the national and international architectural design competitions for student.

  In architecture and urban design field, he also won many national and international competitions at all levels. In the 1996 Shanghai International Design Competition on Residence, in which 503 valid plans from 15 countries and regions emerged, his project, namely ‘Conception of Green Field and Lane: the dialogue between human and nature’ won the First Prize. As an architect and planner, he finished the campus planning and architectural design of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts and Guangdong University of Technology in Guangzhou, the city of south China.

 

  Cui Kai崔愷

  Cui Kai

  Cui Kai is Academician of the China Academy of Engineering, National Design Master, Vice President and Chief Architect of China Architecture Design & Research Group, Standing Councilor of Architectural Society of China and Professor of Tianjin University. He enjoys special subsidy from the State Council and serves as a candidate of “National Hundred, Thousand & Ten Thousand Reserves Project”. He once won the Liang Sicheng Architecture Prize and French Culture & Art Cavalier Medal.

 

  Wang Jianguo王建国院士

 

 

  现任东南大学教授,博士生导师,东南大学建筑学院学术委员会主任、东南大学城市设计研究所所长、全国高等学校建筑学学科专业指导委员会主任、全国高等学校建筑学专业教育评估委员会副主任,国家一级注册建筑师。2013年起任全国高等学校建筑学专业教育评估委员会主任,2015年12月7日当选中国工程院院士。关于当代建筑和城市研究的著作包括《现代城市设计理论和方法》《城市设计》《可持续的城市环境和建筑设计》等。代表实践项目有南京明外郭沿线地区规划,淮安卫生职业技术学院新校园规划设计,京杭大运河扬州段保护规划等。

  Wang Jianguo

  Professor of the Southeast University, Director of academic committee of Southeast University School. He is a national registered architect. Since 2013, he took the position of Director of Architectural Education Evaluation Committee of National Higher Education Institutions, and was elected academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering in December 7, 2015. His main published work focuses on contemporary architecture and urban studies including Modern Urban Design Theories and Methods , Urban Design , and Sustainable Urban Environment and Architectural Design , etc.

 

  Li Xiaojiang李晓江

 

 

  中国城市规划设计研究院原院长,教授级高级城市规划师,国务院享受政府特殊津贴专家,中国城市规划学会副理事长,中国城市交通规划学术委员会副主任委员,首都规划委员会咨询组织专家。 1978年2月至1984年12月,就学于同济大学城市规划专业,获工学学士、工学硕士学位。1984年12月入中国城市规划设计研究院,先后在城市经济研究所、深圳分院、城市规划二所、汕头分院、城市交通研究所工作。

  Li Xiaojiang

  Former President of China Academy of Urban Planning & Design, Senior Professor of the Planner of State Council. He is an expert who is entitled to special grants from the National Council, Vice President of Chinese Society of Urban Planning, as well as Deputy Director of Academic Committee of Chinese City Transportation Planning. He received M.A. and B.A. in Urban Planning in Tongji University and worked with local design institutes after graduation.

  

Liu Lin’an刘临安

 

 

  北京建筑大学建筑与城市规划学院教授,博士生导师,国务院享受政府特殊津贴专家,中国建筑学会建筑师分会理事,《建筑师》杂志编委,国家文物局专家,意大利国际文化遗产保护组织(ICOROM)通讯会员。曾两次获得冶金部教学改革一等奖、全国宝钢教育基金优秀教师奖、陕西省教学成果一等奖、北京市教学成果一等奖、国家教学成果一等奖。西安建筑科技大学建筑学专业和建筑历史与理论专业毕业,先后获得学士、硕士、博士学位,意大利罗马大学建筑学院访问学者。

  Professor Liu Lin’an is the former Dean and Ph.D. advisor at the School of Architecture and Urban Planning, BUCEA. He is an expert who is entitled to special grants from the National Council and a board member of Architectural Society of China. He has been a corresponding author for International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property (ICCROM) in Italy. He received his Ph.D., A.M. and B.A. in Architectural History and Theory from Xi’An University of Architecture and Technology and was the visiting scholar at Università di Roma.
